Hyundai-Sime Darby Motors (HSDM) unveiled its first Global Dealership Space Identity (GDSI) showroom today, featuring Hyundai’s global unified design.
The GDSI concept, is a collaboration between Hyundai Motor Company and Delugan Meissl Associated Architects, a renowned architecture firm known for their modern and dynamic designs. The new showroom design, which is to further strengthen its Modern Premium brand concept is to improve customer service, brand experience and the overall dealership appearance for visitors.
The showroom launch coincided with the nationwide launch of the all-new Sonata, Hyundai’s premium large family D-segment sedan which expresses sophistication and refined luxury, reflecting Hyundai’s modern premium brand direction and also in line with the new GDSI concept.
The new GDSI design, inspired by nature, features an open showroom with floor-to-ceiling glass walls and vertical greens in the interior. It is also visually appealing with the application of a subtle bronze look on the exterior and a modern architecture design. The interior includes modern furniture, new lounge chairs and warm lights that offer customers a comfortable and comforting environment.
“We are confident that this new concept will elevate the status of the Hyundai brand further, which will result in greater customer confidence in the brand,” said Mr Lau Yit Mun, Managing Director of HSDM.
HSDM will be setting up a total of eight GDSI centres in the Central region, Northern region and Southern region by the end of 2015 of which three will be 1S showrooms and five 3S centres.
